Environmental Policy (YENP - 2021 - LS)

Evironmental policy has many interrelations with economic policy, regional policy and behaviour of businesses in all levels from EU to national ones. The aim of this course is to give students the basic knowledge of the main principles of environmental policy as same as some overview of interrelatioships mentioned above. The specific attention will paid to comparison of EU and USA environmental politics as the representatives of two main green policy schemes. The introduction to knowledge Environemtal economics as a basic instrument of environmental policy will be also an inherent part of this course. The practical cases from Hungarian and Czech evironmental policy will be itroduced as well.
