The aim of the course is to provide students comprehensive information on the technology of recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS), including its history and gradual technological development. Thanks to this course, students will obtain theoretical and practical knowledge and experience with the operation of various types of RAS, including information on the design, function and maintenance of individual RAS components. After graduation of the course, students will be able to operate with RAS technology. In addition, students will know the parameters of individual technological components, according to which components are selected and connected to the RAS. The aim of the course is to expand theoretical and practical expertise that will help to use the systems in practical production aquaculture and scientific practice in order to diversify aquaculture and increase its production.
