This course introduces the principles and practices of Open Science and Research Data Management (RDM). It provides researchers with the knowledge and practical skills needed to plan, organize, document, share, and preserve research outputs.

The course covers key topics including Open Science principles, FAIR data principles, research data lifecycles, Data Management Plans (DMPs), metadata and documentation, data sharing and repositories, licensing, copyright, ethics, and responsible research practices.

Through practical activities and assignments, doctoral students will apply these concepts to their own research projects and develop a sustainable approach to managing and sharing research data throughout the research lifecycle.
